We miss our students immensely.  We are SO proud of the work they did remotely and happy we were able to spend some time “seeing” each other on Google Meets.  We would like to see our third graders once more (before moving to fourth grade) so we are planning a 3EC parade on Monday, June 22 beginning at 11:00.  Attached is the Parade Route that will show an APPROXIMATE time we will be in front of your home. (Maybe be out 5-7 minutes prior/after  approximate arrival time?)

In addition, please review the following.

  • Please be sure your child “checks in” and answers the Attendance question each day next week–until the last day of School.  We need to continue posting attendance, each day, as per District policy.
  • We will not assign “official work” this coming week.

However, as per our students’ request, we will post George Washington’s Spy -Reading Videos until we are finished with the book.  This may go past the 24th, but students can access it through Google Classroom-Reading.

  • We will have Google Meets on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Last Friday, during our Google Meet, the class made it clear they wanted to meet on both Tuesday and Wednesday, probably at 10:30. We will post the Meet and invite in “Classroom” Daily Remote Learning-as it has been previously.
  • As a reminder, Clever access will be available to students throughout the summer. The automatic updates that occur between Genesis and Clever will be paused as of June 30th, essentially leaving all student accounts in-tact and functional until they turn the automatic sync back on at the end of August. Students can use MobyMax, BrainPOPJr & BrainPOP, Think Central, Lexia, Newsela, Khan Academy, etc.  This will be a great resource for our children to utilize during the summer upon entering the 4th grade.
